They said the best things in life are free but for the regular partyphiles Free means alot of things. Okay, so I just got word that Starr will be having a "FREE" street party. Its so unlike Starr to come up with that kind of concept. But of course its araw ng Davao so I guess this can be very timely. They said that they're going to import best DJs from Manila which is a really good thing. My heart stopped for a second, Its like when you are MOMOLing and you start getting kilig this is why I always pull back right away and check myself before I wreck myself. So then I started this poll that only few people answered. 

Then I came to realize that, FREE means unfiltered people and given that the location is quite convenient it would be the perfect target for some freeloaders and our budots brothers. Like hoomeyged! But hey who am I to judge. Just go with your gut, and let the partyphile in you decide.

As for my analysis, shallow as it may seem I don't care. I can always go to Starr anytime. I will spend my hard earned money where I feel I would enjoy more. So get ready, well paint the town beautifully on the 15th for #liberalia2014 #smartLiberalia #smartArawNgDabaw.

Ateneo #Collegedays #Onelastrave

In the real world I’m one of the youngest people in my company's payroll; in a different kind of reality, I am old. I went to Ateneo just to see what was going on, know who were there and feel the Ateneo spirit.(blah blah blah) Well it’s been like 5 years since I graduated and never did I saw this kind of team spirit, like ever! Thanks to Manic Nightnings Productions we experience team spirit in a whole new level. I definitely agree that Ateneans throw the best parties and Ateneans know how to party!

I got there while Wacky was playing. He had an awesome set. I don’t know if he prepared or he just know the taste of the crowd as an Atenean himself. Men, he was really responsive and escalating the rave. You would know because everyone’s like singing their own division or clique theme song. It’s not a real party experience if you don’t go to the crowd. Unlike the unexpected turn of events from another party we knew what to expect and Ateneans. Super bango! Even in the worst scenario. I so lurv when people are jumping to the beat, being crazily wild because they just feel like it. I don’t mind being pushed and carrying a girl in my shoulder, I felt like a kid again. Well I blended in just fine. No liquors to throw around? That was not a problem they improvised by throwing water! It was funny my kind of crazy, the good kind. Everyone was smiling and having a good time. It was a time to make friends. Thing about college you can be genuine friends with almost anyone in campus like a few meters away. No much effort needed they just manifested themselves. All of a sudden 20 friends came out of nowhere. LOL remising the times, good times! However, in middle of the all this rave as I said I felt old and celebrated team spirit at the sidelines.

You guys are so lucky to get to experience this one. A real gazillion times step up to the colleges days I remembered. Urg!

Party was not yet over when we left for Starr. It was a different feeling last night and I don’t want to go into details why. So, we just bought drinks and partied at the Hilltop instead. Danced and reminisced about our adventures and misadventures!

Again, Thank you Manic Nightnings Productions, Starr and Ateneo this will be another EPIC memory NOTED. Animo Blue Knights!

And oh! If you’re like currently enrolled and you were not there. You missed half of your life. So you’re like dead right now. As ADDU conyo would put it “kasad ng life mo oi”. LOL

Let’s talk about my expectations for the parties. Aside from CLYDE HARRIS the three are pegged very differently.

I’m not really sure who spectrum events production is but I guess it’s a new comer in the party business which is kind of a bold mood for them. So I guess, I will try their party and its going to be a few days from now. I’m not really expecting anything just yet. I hope there will be surprises for all the Patryphiles since it’s really hard to pull off a party in club velvet. It’s not the usual place where people go to dance and hang out with friends. Let’s do this I don’t have the tix yet it’s just 200 bucks try it and see what they have to offer. #Excited

The Play Ground 2014

When you’re a corporate slave like me and you see something tagged as “work hard, play hard and anything hard-er in between” it will really keep me interested. I honestly wasn’t there last year but my friends told me that it was awesome.

X-Factor the international Filipino International Dj & Remix Artist is spinning. He bagged loads of recognition and I just listened to his mix and I feel that it’s really our kind of music here in Davao. There is a surprise Jock I’ll tell you more if I have updates. We have to be dressy and at the end of the night they guarantee that we already did or witnessed something really naughty. (S&M hmmm maybe?) LOL Definitely a must go.

Now with #Liberalia. 

Setting the expectations high! This is going to be a mile stone in Davao history. I lurv it. This is the real deal! Manic Nightnings Productions have a great line up with the same location as Carte Blache so I’m sure all of you are really itching to get your tickets already. They’re already available! (500 GA and 1000 pre-sold for Stage Side VIP)

The first ever neon paint party so everyone is going to be right down dirty. Then you look at the line up! whoooaw! Amazing! DJ ACERAMOS, DJ SURF, DJ EdwinEdralin, DJ ReoMendoza, Curse&Bless, DJ Clyde Harris, DJ AlianaJimenez, Wacky Masbad, Dj Torch and Universo robot is going to party with everyone! Imagine? I really would want to see em get painted especially DJ surf. LOL So whatever it is; its really wroth it! You have to live in a rock if you are not in this party!

It will also be a perfect celebration for some of the partyphiles that will be graduating this year, treat yourselves dude. Give mommy and daddy puppy dog eyes for this. They're teasing us like crazy the last couple of days; well I guess I’ll be seeing you there soon.

By the way, drinks are already arranged since BACARDI is so sure not to disappoint us. Well this is way way better than last year's The Bar from #carteBlanche. LOL I recommend everyone to have extra bucks so we shall dance with bottles of Golds, Superior and Blacks on the field. Guys and gals I know that you like to show off your classy clothes but this is not the party for that. We will be getting down right dirty so you know the drill.

I go to parties because I love to party and I may need to brush up in my writing skills but I can guarantee you guys that I really experience it and I’m not just a mere expectator who just stands in the corner thinking that they’re the party because it’s not a party if you’re only PartyPhile. I’m such a sucker for open bars and was very curious how “open” it would be. Especially when they announced that it was Johnny Walker-- I told my friends; we have to be there early. No need to get intoxicated before the party because I still felt the Bacardi we had from the other night. We didn't know what to expect because we were thinking The White house, inside? It just goes to show that I don’t dine there. LOL.

When we were in the parking area, we felt bothered; where the party people at?  But hey we already have the tix so we didn't care; we’ll set the mood. As we enter there were no people dancing over DJ jack ripper’s set. It was odd since the set was not at all bad. I enjoyed it actually. So what people did was going back and forth to the open bar. Where they served JW reds you can opt to choose the lemon or coke mix. 

It was satisfying, we abused the bar and enjoyed our multiple bottoms-up. For more than an hour we just stood there drinking and feeling the music, slowly getting in our system.

We were quite intoxicated and everybody was feeling the same way. Meaning people are now ready for the dance floor and fortunately the crowd were also coming in. Girls looked really fab and sophisticated. Guys, most flashed their muscles with the usual slim fit tees and polo shits. While the party was rising perfect timing to see the three captains DJ Regiel Orocay, DJ Jet and M.c. Boo . And people in their heads were like saying “now were talking”.

M.c. Boo was a really great host or whatever you may call him prolly the awesomest flight attendant ever. People went completely crazy when he started to let people drink from the JW bottle. There is just something so sexy when pretty girl drinks from a bottle.

Dibs on the souvenirs, I lourv fighting to get it. Well it’s a novelty and who doesn't like novelties? Everything seems so blurry by then all I remembered was people where really dancing and drinks was not a problem. Even smoking!

When DJ Regiel went to the picture he started by playing RnB tracks which was really cool. It led to a mini showdown. Then back to dancing. I still have jet lag while typing this. Thank you MustardSeedEvents you never disappointed us.

With that I give an 9 out of 10 stars.

Back2Love: Best Valentines Day Ever!

I should start by saying…. EPPPIIICCC party man! I can still smell Bacardi and beer in my hair while am writing this down. Big word coming from me when I say EPIC; so where do I start? Probably not talking about the line long line of cars at the barge. LOL! Since everything was worth the wait. Although a lot of people were in the barge going to the party it sounded like that calm moment right before the storm hits. By the moment we entered the party Stay the night was playing and its like meant to be.

Bacardi Black Rhum coke was included in the 150 bucks we paid, cheap price for this kind of party. Which was really great for us and if you want more it was just 50 bucks and I would like to thank the bartenders who generously poured a lucrative amount of shit in our drinks when me and my friend did the one on one. We bought a bottle of gold and shared it with everyone even people that we didn’t know, so before we knew it kapot nadah barcardi gold. The cool thing about this is even if there was a sponsor they did not monopolize. You have the options on what you wanna to buy. You can opt to get beer and its red horse not the never to mentioned one. Really! I have something against that other one. The organizers really know how to please their audience, mah friends were also front row drinking Bacardi black given by the girls on the stage. It went down so crazy it spilled in my nose and hair. I can still smell the rhum aroma in my nose. Since we were in Samal, ofcourse we can smoke anywhere. Like super cool!

Enough liquor talk now on what went down well aside from everyone’s clothes. Just kidding. Girls were mostly in their bikinis and the guys shamelessly were wearing either trunks or board shorts. Definitely loads of skin to look at and touch. Yes, guilty here. o.O Well, I was intoxicated don’t blame me if Mr.Id is talking. 

Everyone was at its game to grind. The good thing is there were no jej in site. Or if there were I didn't really notice them since the music and dance made them blend them in. people were also throwing themselves at each other especially when the foam was already flying. I tried but for some reason I can’t breathe inside the foam so I went out. Grrrr and I wanna grind so bad. For most people they loved it, a great excuse to touch each other and everything seemed slippery so it’s perfect.

Then let’s talk about to the music. I can honestly say is the DJs especially the two main Katsy Lee and  Jerry Falame Jr..  Well, I was on half of DJ Bigs set and it was a perfect mood setter. The right blend of familiarity and unpredictability made the crowd danced like crazy. I really appreciate all of them for giving us the spice girl. (give us what we want what we really really want) then when the DJs had climatic parts to our surprise there were fireworks. I know it fascinates us since it’s been a while that we saw fireworks up close.

We didn't stay overnight. Which was a good thing because the Ateneo nightingales put down a show while waiting for the barge. And it was loud music, shouting, rolling down and flashing of booty all in good fun. Another star of the show was a guy dancing boduts over EDM. #crazy

All of us went home with a smile on our faces knowing that the trip will be another memory that our friends shared on Hearts Day!

For the Back2love, I give it a 9 out of 10. I look forward for more from Party Animal you guys rock!

Back2Love: Valentines Day/ Single Awareness Day

Few days to go and its going to be the day of the year when lovers flaunt each other proly reenacting their first dates, having reservation on fancy restaurants and checking in early on hotels since most of it are fully booked. I guess this year since, admittedly its not valentines day for but Single Awareness Day well, its very cruel when you're alone. 

Worry no more because Party Animal Production is giving us a chance to be alone, together!

How to throw an EPIC house party?

Note: This is not for the not for the faint of heart.

The key here is spontaneity, a good place to crash and being resourceful. Keep those three things in check and you are good to go. 

Now why do I need put this out there? Because Davao has an errrr liquor ban and the only way to drink and party all night is to have a party at a house or a condo not unless you go to someplace; I don't even want to mention. LOL not that I went there. In Manila, what's very uso are suite parties. Now, I really feel  that its going to be the next trend here in Davao. Am sure most of you agrees with me.

Planning a party takes alot of work. I know I did it and for the host its really not fun at all. That's why first rule is it should be spontaneous. That way people will not expect anything and they will make do what's available. Less expectation the better.

In that note, invite the right people. It should be a mix of different crowds and don't be afraid to tell anyone to bring friends over. Don't forget to tell them to bring a bottle of hard liquor to share with everyone. Minimum ticket for boarding is a bottle empelight. Yes, Empe light would do. (Gezz wag na maarte) If they can bring more pricey one the better like BACARDI, JD no I don't like Black label during these kinds of parties. Maybe jaggerbombs. Also let the boys collect the fines for BEER later or if anyone wants to. Always keep in mind partyphiles, Thou shall not run out of Liquor.

Notice: galing pa sa convenience store. LOL

Now, for a place to crash. Make sure that you clear the area out of things that might break. People will be intoxicated so don't blame them if your mother's good old china will be broken you left it vulnerable. Make sure the CR is clean coz girls will be coming in every 5 mins, and they'll be pissed if they see pubs on sink and the drain. LOL No BS here. Plus be ready that it will be a tambayan because some people might smoke inside. Its up to the host if he'll allow it or not. And make sure that there is something to cook or grab in the kitchen or let people bring some.

or order up Pizza free delivery these are the cheap once but its really yummy. The one in Malvar I forgot the name of the Pizza Shop.

Another is play some EDM music and other sub genres. Make sure that you already have a playlist on so that any moment wont be cut off. Might I suggest local blogger's TOP list for suggestions.

During the part the host should not be the gunner (the one who gives out the drink, am sure you know what I mean). Let him or her enjoy the party.

The reason for the diversity of Guest is the game of SPIN THE BOTTLE. I don't like TRUTH or DARE. That gets too personal and its a snooze fest. My awesome suggestion is DARE or DRINK GENEROUSLY FROM THE BOTTLE. That's the way to stir things up. My suggestion, dare some lap dance, eat biting, girl on girl action and male to male action nothing bellow the best that's disgusting. I will be the one to tell them to get a room. LOL

Another way to stir things up with a bottle is body shot. Very simple whoever spins the bottle gets to body shot the person where the bottle stop. G-R-R-R. Hate explaining mechanics.

This is not for the faint of heart as I said awhile ago so every should be at their game. If not you will just ruin the party. Anyway my unsolicited advice go for it. Who know you might get to meet your newest playmate or maybe a someone serious? You can't pull this off everyday, do this once in a while and you sure will have a good time. I did. 

If you remember this party last year, yes I was there. Maybe I will invite you next time.

Where's the Party during LOVE month?

All right, after #Elements here's the plan for Valentines Month. Schedule is very tight but hey, the tighter it is the better. Right?

Let's start of from the unofficial party. Its not a buzz in social media just yet but rumor has it that Those Damn Nerds yes, wearing those 3D glasses at Carte Blanche will be playing at Club Velvet on Valentines day. Will confirm if rumor is true. If it is, I'm going to be there late since I'm going to be with someone, I deserve 3rd base. Anyway, TMI.  

BACK2LOVE

Its very catchy back2Love Two Nights party. Hmmm, I'm pretty sure there'll be loads of people there not exactly partyphiles but I can guarantee these guys and gals are itching to dance in the beach and do MOMOL publicly. Unfiltered, great place to get wet and wild. These kinds of parties you expect people to be very into the groove and don't care what they look like just so long they dance to the EDM-influenced pop tracks of ICONA POP. We usually go after the Davao Party around 1am. Great strategy so that when we get there people are already in the mood to throw themselves at each other. Definitely after party party-ish.

The Flight

Now the real deal. I'm really expecting this flight to be extra exciting. This will be the only flight that I'd wish I would have a Jet lag.

I will be expecting great tracks (something unpredictable) and good company. Great for socializing and meeting new partyphiles. I quote a friend "Be at your wedding ready outfit" LOL I'm not really sure what to wear but I guess a good old fashion polo shirt will do.

This party is going to be quite intimate so I guess, there's be games and stuff.

I really have high expectations for this month. The good thing is parties in Davao keeps getting better and better. So that's Migs' sched boys and girls. I'll see you at the party. And I will RSVP everyone if there are more up and coming parties in Davao.

Davao Most Played EDM Tracks

I'm going to give my fearless forcast of new tracks that would definately be popular this year

The good thing about this party was you can buy drinks inside the mall and bring it while you're dancing. The only thing about this party that I didn't like was the music.  I've been listening to alot of EDM tracks lately, yes, its free but dude you don't have to repeat several tracks over and over again. Its just so wrong. I feel as though DJs are no longer exploring and giving us more awesome beats.

As usual, We came in prepared and have our VIP tickets unfortunately there was no VIP area so we squeeze ourselves in with the common people. It was really fun at first but then it became really sweaty. It was okay if everyone was intoxicated as I am but the smell. Shees. 


Good thing that our dear dancing Diva Madam Kat Dalisay had an instant idea of having a so called "SVIP" area. Lucky I was one of those awesome people.

Since, no one was still that drunk there were less dancing and more picture taking. Look at the SVIPs taking pictures at the back while we were doing the whoooo dance move while raising our hands pretending that we are having an awesome time. There was also much hype with DJ ACERAMOS but quite frankly he is no better than my iPOD. Though this was a free event he shouldn't had made it cheap. Maybe its because he played very mainstream tracks. I don't remember that he was this bad in Republiq. 

Anyway, this was all in good fun. No new faces. Good that we are in our comfort zones. After the party, we went to hybrid for some old good old fashion beat atleast you know what to expect.

 Most of them are still at the back doing some selfies. Just like these crowd.

And don't be fooled by the people carrying girls because they are not that drunk and they were not that wild. ;)
